The process

Both chair-side and home teeth whitening treatments require the two following steps before treatment can begin:

Procedure

Step 1

Examination

before any treatment can take place, we need to make sure your teeth are disease and decay-free. Should we find your teeth are affected, we will need to tackle this first, before teeth whitening can be carried out.

Step 2

Scale and polish

before the whitening treatment takes place, we will request that patients attend a session with the hygienist, as a scale and polish to remove surface stains and plaque will make for an enhanced end result. You can read more about what to expect from a scale and polish here.

Philips Zoom chair-side whitening

For patients who are short on time or who are looking for instant results, we recommend world renowned Philips Zoom teeth whitening.

Should you choose this chair-side option, we’ll whiten your teeth while you lie back comfortably in the dentist’s chair. After as little as 1 hour, your teeth can be up to 8 shades lighter, though we will consult with you beforehand to establish how much lighter you would like your teeth to be.

We offer multiple types of Zoom whitening, depending on whether you’re looking to top-up an already white smile, or if you wish to significantly improve the shade of discoloured teeth. Depending on which option you choose, we will either use a combination of whitening gel and a UV light, or exclusively whitening gel, to achieve the shade you’re looking for.

At-home teeth whitening

At-home teeth whitening involves using bespoke whitening trays, to which a whitening gel is applied. By taking impressions of your teeth, our dental technician can recreate a mould of your smile, to which the whitening gel will be applied by you, from the comfort of your own home. Your dentist will let you know how long you need to wear your trays for each day and show you how to use your whitening kit.

You can expect to see noticeable results after just 3 days of application and full courses of treatment usually take 2 weeks to complete. We recommend this type of whitening to patients who are happy to apply the gel themselves at home and who aren’t necessarily looking for instant results.

Rarely writing reviews, but Complex Smile definitely worth it. Amazing dental clinic starting from receptionist and finishing with Dr. Karolina Kraujelytė, she’s done amazing job literally saving the tooth which likely needed to be extracted, can’t thank enough. Just wanna say choose this clinic and save yourself from unnecessary stress, health issues and expenses.

I came at complex smile for just one implant after checking 3 different clinics.. I had an absolutely great experience. I have chosen Complex smile because the specialist goes straight to the point, no one in the clinic is wasting their time about trying to sell you treatment you didn't come for. Even when I had an emergency 2 days before Christmas the specialist did everything to see me at the clinic despite he was on holidays. I live now on the other side of the city but I will keep them for my regular hygiene check. Thank you so much for everything, I can finally now eat normally !
